Car
From Mahikeng, head northwest on the N4 highway towards Zeerust. Continue for approximately 50 kilometers, then take the exit towards the R49 highway, following signs for Ramatlabama border post. Follow the R49 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Botsalano Game Reserve on your left. Note that there may be tolls on the roads. Ensure you have sufficient fuel as fuel stations may be limited. Parking is available at the entrance.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Mahikeng to Zeerust. Upon arrival in Zeerust, hire a taxi or local shuttle to Botsalano Game Reserve, approximately 30 kilometers away. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxi fare from Zeerust to Botsalano can range from R300-R500.
