Established in 1992, the Khama Rhino Sanctuary is a community-based wildlife project in Botswana dedicated to protecting endangered rhinos and restoring the area's natural wildlife populations. Covering 8,585 hectares of Kalahari sandveld, the sanctuary provides a safe haven for both black and white rhinos, as well as over 30 other mammal species and 230 species of birds.

Driving
From Serowe, head north on the Serowe-Orapa road for approximately 25 km. The sanctuary is located just past the village of Paje. The roads to the sanctuary are well-maintained and accessible by most vehicles. Vehicle fees are approximately P200 for vehicles under 5 tonnes. Park entrance fees are P160 per adult.
Public Transport
Take a bus or taxi from major towns like Gaborone or Serowe to Paje. From Paje, hire a local taxi to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. Confirm the fare beforehand, with typical taxi fares ranging from P50-P100. Check bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
