Starting from Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, rent a 4x4 vehicle as the roads to Tau Pan can be rugged and unpaved. Head northeast on the A3 highway towards the town of Hukuntsi. After approximately 120 km, turn onto the B14 road, which will take you towards the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Continue for another 90 km until you reach the reserve's entrance. Expect to pay an entrance fee of around P50 ($5) per person. Once inside, follow the signs to Tau Pan, which is about 40 km from the entrance.
