Getting There

  • Self-Drive

    From the Two Rivers entrance gate, proceed north along the Nossob River Valley for approximately 25 km on the main gravel road. The route is generally well-maintained but can be sandy in places, requiring a 4x4 vehicle for optimal safety. Look for the Rooiputs Lodge sign and turn off onto the private sandy track for the final 1 km approach to the lodge. Park entry fees are approximately BWP 190 per adult per day, plus BWP 75 per vehicle. Ensure you have sufficient fuel and supplies, as facilities within the park are limited.

  • Fly-in Transfer

    Guests can arrange to be met at the Two Rivers airstrip for a transfer to Rooiputs Lodge. The lodge typically provides this transfer service, which is included in fully inclusive rates. Confirm the transfer cost and schedule directly with the lodge when booking. The drive from the airstrip to the lodge is approximately 30 minutes, offering an immediate introduction to the Kalahari landscape. Park entry fees are typically included in the lodge package.
