To reach Nwetwe Pan by car, start from the main road within the Makgadikgadi Pans area. If you're coming from the entrance of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, head towards the Ntwetwe Pan turn-off. The GPS coordinates for Nwetwe Pan are approximately -20.6808744 latitude and 25.3311689 longitude. Follow the signs towards Nwetwe Pan. The road may be sandy and bumpy, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road travel. A 4x4 vehicle is advisable. There may be no formal parking area, so park responsibly. Renting a 4x4 in Maun or Kasane is an option. Expect to pay park entrance fees of P190 per person per day for international non-residents, plus vehicle fees of P75 per day.
