Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Molepolole Bus Rank. From the bus rank, head east on the main road (A12) towards Gaborone. Walk straight for about 6 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Gaborone. Continue straight along the A12, following the signs toward Gaborone. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see signs indicating the direction to Kgale Hill. Turn right at the junction, and you will find yourself on a smaller road leading directly to Kgale Hill.

    Begin your journey at the Molepolole Bus Rank. Rent a bicycle from a local shop if you do not have one. Head east on the A12 road toward Gaborone. Ride straight for about 6 kilometers until you reach the intersection. Continue on the A12 for around 10 kilometers, keeping an eye out for the signs directing you to Kgale Hill. At the junction, turn right, and follow the road to reach Kgale Hill.

  • Public Transport

    From Molepolole, take a shared taxi (commonly referred to as a 'combi') heading to Gaborone. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Kgale Hill. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive near Kgale Hill, ask the driver to drop you off as close as possible to the foot of the hill. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of Kgale Hill.
