  • Air Transfer

    The primary way to reach Delta Camp is via a light aircraft flight from Maun Airport (MUB), the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Several airlines, including Airlink and Air Botswana, offer daily flights to Maun from Johannesburg and Cape Town. Upon arrival in Maun, a representative will assist you with your transfer to a smaller charter plane for a scenic 15-45 minute flight to the Delta airstrip. From the airstrip, a guide will meet you for a 45-minute mokoro ride or a 30-minute bush walk to Delta Camp, depending on water levels. Typical costs for this final approach: * Charter flight from Maun to the Delta airstrip: US$220 - US$260 per person, per way. Note: Luggage is restricted to 20 kg (44 lbs) per person in a soft duffel-type bag.
