  • Light Aircraft

    The most common way to reach Cha Cha Metsi is by flying into Maun International Airport (MUB). From there, take a charter flight to the nearest airstrip within the Okavango Delta. These flights typically take 15 to 45 minutes. Cha Cha Metsi is approximately 20 minutes by helicopter or 1 hour 45 minutes by open land rover from the airstrip. The cost of a charter flight from Maun to a nearby airstrip ranges from US$150 to US$450 one way, depending on the distance. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be transferred to the camp by a safari vehicle.

  • Self-Drive (4x4 Recommended)

    For adventurous travelers, self-driving to the Okavango Delta is an option, though a 4x4 vehicle is essential. Roads can be challenging, especially during the rainy season. From Maun, drive to the Moremi Game Reserve, which borders the eastern part of the Okavango Delta. Cha Cha Metsi can then be accessed via a combination of driving and boat transfer. Note that self-drive options are generally restricted to the Moremi Game Reserve. Expect to pay park fees, conservation levies, and campsite fees, in addition to fuel costs. Car rentals for a 4x4 range from US$300 to US$350 per day.
