  • Air Travel

    The most common way to reach Khwai River Lodge is by flying into Maun Airport (MUB) or Kasane Airport (BBK). From either airport, you can arrange a charter flight or a road transfer to the lodge. The flight from Maun is approximately 30 minutes, while the flight from Kasane is about an hour. The lodge has its own airstrip for convenient access. Contact the lodge in advance to arrange your transfer. Private charter flights to or from other Belmond lodges or Maun/Kasane Airport can also be arranged.

  • Road Transfer

    Road transfers from Maun or Kasane are also possible, but they are significantly longer than flights. The drive from Maun is approximately 4-5 hours, while the drive from Kasane can take 6-7 hours or longer. The roads can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Contact the lodge or a reputable tour operator to arrange your road transfer. Keep in mind that it could cost $75 - $120 and take almost 12 hours to drive from Moremi to Khwai River Lodge.
