There are no costs associated with walking to the park.

If driving from central Gaborone, head south on the A1 highway towards Gaborone South. Take the exit for S Ring Road and continue straight. Follow the S Ring Road until you reach the vicinity of Mephato Extension 12. Look for the coordinates 8WMC+2MV on your GPS or mapping app, which will direct you to the entrance of Ext. 12 Park. Parking is usually available near the park entrance. Parking is free. Be mindful of stray animals on the roads.

From the Gaborone Bus Rank, head south on Station Road until you reach the intersection with the S Ring Road. Turn left onto S Ring Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. The park entrance is located on the left side of the road. A one-way trip on a minibus costs no more than €0.47. Taxis charge approximately €2.34 per kilometer.
