Designed by the renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer, the memorial is both a mausoleum and a museum, celebrating Kubitschek's life and his pivotal role in the nation's history. The building itself is a modernist masterpiece, featuring a white marble exterior and a distinctive design. A statue of Kubitschek by Honório Peçanha stands on a 28-meter pedestal, overlooking the city. Inside, visitors can explore exhibits detailing Kubitschek's life, including photographs, personal belongings, and documents related to the construction of Brasília. The memorial also houses Kubitschek's tomb, located beneath stained glass created by Marianne Peretti.
