Continue on BR-163 until you reach the junction with BR-277, where you will head east towards Foz do Iguaçu. The drive will take approximately 10-12 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Bus
For those opting for public transportation, you can catch a long-distance bus from major cities in the Central-West Region, such as Campo Grande or Cuiabá. Companies like Viação Andorinha and Expresso São Luiz operate routes to Foz do Iguaçu. The journey may take around 20-24 hours, so prepare for an overnight trip. Tickets can be purchased at bus terminals or online. Once you arrive at the Foz do Iguaçu bus station, you can take a local taxi or a shuttle bus to the entrance of Iguazu Falls, which is about 10 km away.
Flight
Another option is to fly from major airports in the Central-West Region to Foz do Iguaçu (IGU Airport). Airlines such as LATAM and Gol have connecting flights. This is the fastest option, taking about 1.5 hours of flight time, but you will need to account for travel to and from the airports, which can add time. Once you arrive at IGU Airport, you can take a taxi or pre-arranged shuttle service to reach Iguazu Falls, which is approximately 13 km from the airport.
