Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the main area of Fernando de Noronha, where most accommodations and restaurants are located. Head south on Rua da Praia until you reach Av. José da Silva Marques. Turn left onto Av. José da Silva Marques and continue straight until you see BR-363. Turn right onto BR-363. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes. You will find the entrance to Dog Beach on your left, marked by a small sign. There is no official parking lot, so be mindful of where you park.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Dog Beach using public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop in the main area of Fernando de Noronha. Look for a local shuttle bus that operates on the route to Praia do Cachorro, which is a popular nearby beach. The bus fare is typically around R$ 10. Once you arrive at Praia do Cachorro, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes along the coastline heading east.
