Public Transport
From the center of Florianópolis, take a bus to TILAG (Lagoa da Conceição Terminal). Several bus lines connect the city center to TILAG. From TILAG, take bus 362 (Canto dos Araçás) to the final stop. The bus fare is around R$4.50. From the final bus stop, the trail starts 300 meters ahead.

Walking
From Lagoa da Conceição center, walk along Rua Rita Lourenço da Silveira, then turn left onto Travessa Ângela Chaves, and finally turn right onto Rua João Henrique Gonçalves. Continue on this road, past the point where the asphalt ends. The trail begins at the end of this road, about a 20-30 minute walk from the center. There is a parking lot near the bus stop.

Boat
From the Centrinho da Lagoa, take a boat (Cooperbarco) to Costa da Lagoa. The boat trip takes about 1 hour and costs around R$15 per person. Get off at the final stop of Costa da Lagoa (Trapiche Brasiliano - Ponto 23) and follow the trail. This allows you to hike back to Canto dos Araçás, or vice versa.
