If driving from within Itatiaia National Park, start at the park entrance on BR-354. Follow the signs for 'Cachoeira do Escorrega' along Estrada do Escorrega. The drive is about 10 km and takes approximately 20 minutes. Be aware that the road can be winding and steep. Parking is available near the waterfall, but it fills up quickly during peak hours. There may be a fee to enter the park by car (approximately R$ 24,00).

From Itatiaia city center, take a bus to the park entrance. The bus service operates regularly, and a ticket costs around R$ 10. From the park entrance, walk approximately 3 km along Estrada do Escorrega to reach the Waterfall Slide. This walk takes about 30-40 minutes and involves some elevation changes.

If already in Itatiaia National Park, access Waterfall Slide via various trails. The main trail starts near the visitor center. Follow the marked paths, which are well-maintained. The hike is around 2 km and takes approximately 45 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring plenty of water.
