This street leads directly to the monastery, and the walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Look for the monastery's distinctive Baroque architecture on your left as you approach.
Public Transport
If arriving from Recife, take a bus towards Olinda. Get off at a bus stop near the historic center, such as Avenida Olinda I. From there, follow the walking directions on Rua de São Bento to reach the monastery. A one-way bus ticket costs around R$4.50.
Taxi/Ride-sharing
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available in Olinda and Recife. A taxi ride from Recife to Olinda typically costs between R$40-R$50 and takes about 7 minutes.
