Walking
If you are already in Recife Antigo, head towards the waterfront along Avenida Alfredo Lisboa. Marco Zero Square is located at the end of this avenue. Look for the large, open plaza with views of the harbor and the compass rose in the center. It's about a 10-minute walk from most locations in Recife Antigo.
Public Transport
From other parts of Recife, take a local bus towards the Recife Antigo area. Look for bus stops with signs indicating 'Recife Antigo'. Bus fares typically range from R$3 to R$5. Alternatively, take the metro to the Recife station and then walk, bus or taxi to Old Town. A single metro ticket costs R$1.60.
