There are no additional costs involved, as access to both the park and the trail is free.

To reach Prainha Park by public transport, take a bus to Recreio dos Bandeirantes. From the Recreio, several bus lines will take you to Estrada do Pontal. Get off at the first stop after you stop seeing the beach. From there, it's about a 1.5 to 2 kilometer walk to the entrance of the park. Bus fares in Rio de Janeiro typically cost around R$5. Once at the park, the trail to Mirante do Caeté is free.

From Recreio dos Bandeirantes, a taxi or ride-sharing service (such as Uber) to Prainha Park is a convenient option.
