If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Paraty. Head east on Rua Dona Aimee towards Rua da Paz, then turn left onto RJ-165. Continue on RJ-165 for approximately 11 km. Look for the signs indicating the Circuit Gold Trail entrance, which will be on your right. The trailhead is situated in a rural area at Rodovia RJ-165, Km 11. There is no entry fee, but ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be unpaved.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Paraty to the nearby village of Cunha. Buses leave from the Paraty bus terminal and take about 1 hour. Upon reaching Cunha, you may need to hire a taxi or a ride-sharing service to cover the remaining 9 km to the Circuit Gold Trail entrance at Rodovia RJ-165, Km 11. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary by day.
