Walking
Captain Jug Charters operates from the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay. If you are already in Cruz Bay, the dock is easily accessible on foot. From the ferry dock, walk along the waterfront, following the paved path. The National Park Dock is a short walk, approximately 5-10 minutes, and is located near the Virgin Islands National Park Visitor Center. There are several shops and restaurants along the way. No costs are associated with walking to the dock.

Public Transport
If arriving from other parts of St. John via taxi, ask the driver to drop you off at the Cruz Bay ferry dock or the National Park Visitor Center. From either location, the National Park Dock is a short, easy walk. Taxi fares from popular destinations like Trunk Bay or Cinnamon Bay to Cruz Bay range from $5.50 to $11 for one person, with slightly discounted rates for additional passengers. The 'Dollar Bus' ($2 per ride) is available from Coral Bay to Cruz Bay, but it is not the most convenient option for tourists.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout St. John and can drop you off directly at the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay. From the St. Thomas Airport (STT), take a taxi to either the Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie ferry terminals. A taxi from the airport to Red Hook costs approximately $20-$22 and takes 30-45 minutes. The ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay costs $8.15 per adult and $1.00 for children, plus $4 per bag. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport to Charlotte Amalie costs around the same, and the ferry to Cruz Bay is $13 per adult and $3.50 per child, plus $4 per bag. Once in Cruz Bay, the taxi stand is a short walk to the National Park Dock.

Parking
If driving to Cruz Bay, parking can be challenging, especially during peak season. Several paid parking lots are available, including Slim Man's, L&L, and the Lumberyard. Rates range from $5 to $15 for a couple of hours, and $25 to $50 for all-day parking. Free parking is limited but can be found at the DMV lot (a 10-minute walk to town) or the Customs lot (fills up quickly). After parking, walk to the National Park Dock, which is centrally located near the ferry dock and Visitor Center.
