Ferry
The primary way to reach Scrub Island is via ferry from Tortola. Upon arrival at Terrance B. Lettsome Airport (EIS) on Beef Island, Tortola, take a short taxi ride (approximately 2 minutes) or walk (200 feet) to the Trellis Bay Ferry Terminal. The Scrub Island ferry operates frequently, approximately every 45 minutes, from 6:45 am to 10:30 pm, with return trips from 6:30 am to 10:15 pm. The ferry ride to Scrub Island takes about 10 minutes and is complimentary for resort guests. A special run outside of the normal hours will cost $30.

Water Taxi
For a more direct and flexible option, consider a private water taxi from various points in the British Virgin Islands or nearby St. Thomas. Island Time Water Taxi operates from Red Hook, St Thomas to Scrub Island Resort on demand, and the journey takes 1h 25m. This eliminates the need for multiple transfers and allows for a customized schedule. Contact a local water taxi service for pricing and availability. Keep in mind that water taxi fares are generally higher than the ferry, but offer convenience.
