  • Ferry

    To reach Dive BVI on Scrub Island, the primary method is by ferry. From Tortola's Beef Island Airport (EIS), a Scrub Island representative escorts guests to the Trellis Bay Ferry Dock. A private launch operates between Trellis Bay and Scrub Island every 45 minutes, from 5:45 am with the last ferry at 10:30 pm. The ferry ride is approximately 10 minutes and is complimentary for Scrub Island guests. Alternatively, from Virgin Gorda, take a ferry to Beef Island, then transfer to the Scrub Island ferry at Trellis Bay. From St. Thomas (STT), take a taxi to either the Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook ferry terminal. Ferries from Charlotte Amalie go to Road Town, Tortola, while ferries from Red Hook go to West End, Tortola. From either Road Town or West End, take a taxi to Trellis Bay to catch the Scrub Island ferry. *Ferry costs from St. Thomas to Tortola range from $30-$80 depending on the ferry company and class of service. Taxi fares vary depending on the distance, but expect to pay around $35-$50 from Road Town or West End to Trellis Bay.
