Ferry
The primary way to access Scrub Island is via ferry from Tortola. Upon arrival at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) on Beef Island, Tortola, take a short taxi ride to the Trellis Bay Ferry Dock. The Scrub Island private launch operates frequently, with a journey time of approximately 10 minutes. The ferry is complimentary for resort guests. The ferry runs approximately every hour. From Trellis Bay: 45 minutes after the hour, every hour, starting at 5:45am. From Scrub Island: 30 minutes after the hour, every hour, last ferry at 10:30pm. A special run is $30.

Alternatively, you can fly into Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. From there, take a taxi to the Charlotte Amalie Ferry Dock and catch a ferry to Road Town, Tortola. Then, take a taxi to the Trellis Bay Ferry Dock for the Scrub Island ferry. Ferry tickets are approximately $15 per person. Contact the ferry provider to understand the guidelines and required protocols for arrival and departure.
