Driving

From Cruz Bay, head south on North Shore Road (Route 20). Continue for a few miles until you see the main entrance and gatehouse to the Caneel Bay Resort on your left. Note that Caneel Bay Resort is currently closed. Parking is available in the nearby designated parking area. Parking availability may be limited.
Public Transport

From Cruz Bay, you can take a VITRAN bus along North Shore Road. The bus fare is $1. The bus runs hourly and can drop you off near the entrance to Caneel Bay Resort. From there, it is a short walk to Turtle Bay Beach. A short walk from the bus stop to your destination may be required.
Taxi

Open-air taxis are readily available in Cruz Bay. Taxi rates are set by the VI Taxicab Division and are per person based on destination. Confirm the price with the driver before getting into the vehicle. A typical fare from Cruz Bay to the Caneel Bay area is approximately $8-$10 per person. An additional surcharge of US$1-$3 per person applies between midnight and 6am depending on the destination.

The land making up the Caneel Bay peninsula was transferred to the National Park Service on April 22, 2024.
