Legend says that in 1953, a British sea captain, Capt. George Soule, created the famous cocktail here, blending Cruzan Rum, sugar cane extract, bananas, lime juice, and a secret banana liqueur.
Mountain Top faced a devastating fire in the 1970s but was rebuilt and continues to welcome visitors. Today, it remains a symbol of resilience and a place where tourists can capture postcard-perfect views and enjoy a taste of the Virgin Islands.
