While public transportation ('safari bus') is available on St. Thomas, it may not be the most convenient option for reaching Sapphire Beach directly from all locations. However, if you are in Red Hook, you can catch a local bus towards Sapphire Beach. The bus stop is located right outside the Sapphire Beach Resort entrance. The cost is around $3 per person. Note that local taxis and safari buses accept only cash.

From Cyril E. King Airport (STT), you can take a ferry to Red Hook, followed by a short taxi ride to Sapphire Beach. Take the ferry from Charlotte Amalie Airport to St Thomas - Red Hook. Services depart hourly and operate every day. The journey takes approximately 26 minutes. From Red Hook, take a taxi to Sapphire Beach, which is about a 5-minute drive. The taxi fare from Red Hook to Sapphire Beach is approximately $30-$40. The ferry fare is approximately $21 - $22.
