Taxi
From Cruz Bay, taxis are readily available. Inform the driver you wish to go to Tektite Trailhead near Lameshur Bay. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Confirm the fare before starting; taxi rates to the south shore are generally per person. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for the ride.

Walking
For adventurous travelers already in the Lameshur Complex area, the Tektite Trailhead is accessible by foot. From Great Lameshur Bay, walk west along the shoreline, then follow the road leading up from the beach. The trailhead is located 60 feet west of the steep concrete road leading down to Lameshur Bay. Be prepared for a steep uphill walk to reach the trailhead.

From Cruz Bay, take Centerline Road (Route 10) or North Shore Road (Route 20) towards Coral Bay. At the bottom of the steep hill entering Coral Bay, turn right at the 'T' intersection. Follow the winding road for about 5 miles, past Concordia and Salt Pond. At the end of the paved road, you'll find the entrance to Lameshur Bay. Continue past Great Lameshur Bay to reach the trailhead. Parking is limited near the trailhead. Be aware that the road to Lameshur Bay is unpaved and can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
