Taxi
From Cruz Bay, taxis are readily available. A taxi to the Caneel Bay area, near Turtle Bay Beach, costs approximately $9 per person for two or more passengers traveling together. Confirm the rate with the driver before starting your journey. From the Caneel Bay gatehouse, it's a short walk to the beach. Note that the Caneel Bay Resort is currently closed.
Public Transport
Safari buses/taxis regularly travel along the north shore. From Cruz Bay, you can catch a safari bus heading towards the north shore beaches. The fare ranges from $6-12 per person, depending on the destination. Ask the driver to drop you off near Caneel Bay, from where you can walk to Turtle Bay Beach. Check the schedule, as these buses typically run until 5:00 PM.
Walking
For those staying near Caneel Bay, walking is a scenic option. From Hawksnest Beach, head east along the coastline. Turtle Bay Beach is located on the northern edge of Hawksnest Point, about 30-40 minutes away. Follow the path, enjoying the views across Durloe Channel to Henley Cay and other small islands.
