Taxi
From Road Town, Tortola's capital, taxis are readily available. A taxi ride to Trunk Bay typically takes around 20-30 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before setting off. The approximate taxi fare from the cruise pier to Brewers Bay or Cane Garden Bay is around $12 per person each way for shared taxis. Expect to pay a similar fare to Trunk Bay. Keep in mind that taxi fares are fixed but should always be confirmed before starting your journey.
Driving
If driving from Road Town, head east on the Ridge Road. Turn left just before the mountain-top laundromat to access the road leading to Trunk Bay. The road is well-maintained, offering breathtaking views. Parking is available near Trunk Bay and is free of charge. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially during peak times. Consider arriving early to secure a spot.
Ferry and Taxi
From Virgin Gorda, take a ferry to the ferry terminal in Road Town, Tortola. Ferry tickets cost around $65 for one way for adults. From the ferry terminal in Road Town, take a taxi to Trunk Bay, which is about a 20-30 minute drive. The taxi fare is approximately $12 per person.
