Starting from the Tutong town center, make your way towards the Tutong River. Head east on Jalan Tutong and continue until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Jalan Kianggeh. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and turn right onto Jalan Kianggeh. Walk along this road for about 1 km, passing local shops and eateries on your right. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Kampung Kota Batu. After approximately 1 km, turn left onto a smaller road leading towards Kampung Kota Batu. Follow this road for about 500 meters, and you will see the Mausoleum of Sultan Bolkiah on your left. It is a prominent historical site, easily identifiable by its distinct architecture.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from Tutong town center and cycle east along Jalan Tutong. As you approach the traffic lights, turn right onto Jalan Kianggeh. Continue cycling for about 1 km, and then turn left onto the road leading to Kampung Kota Batu. This route is approximately 2 km in total and is relatively flat, making it suitable for cycling. The Mausoleum of Sultan Bolkiah is located along this route on your left.

From the Tutong bus terminal, take a bus heading towards Kampung Kota Batu. Ensure to inform the driver of your destination. The bus will drop you near the entrance to Kampung Kota Batu. Once you get off the bus, walk straight along the main road for about 500 meters, and you will see the Mausoleum of Sultan Bolkiah on your left.
