Car
If you're driving from Borovets to Tsarska Bistritsa, start by heading southeast on the main road out of Borovets (Rila Monastery road). Continue for approximately 8 km until you reach the town of Samokov. Once in Samokov, follow the signs to Tsarska Bistritsa. The entrance to the site will be on your right. Parking is available near the entrance, and it's free.
Public Transportation
To reach Tsarska Bistritsa using public transport, take a local bus from Borovets to Samokov. Buses leave regularly from the central bus station in Borovets. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 2 BGN. Once you arrive in Samokov, you can either walk (about 1.5 km) or take a taxi to reach Tsarska Bistritsa. If you choose to walk, head southeast on the main road and look for signs leading to the attraction.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Borovets to Tsarska Bistritsa. This option is more expensive, costing around 20-30 BGN, but it will take you directly to the entrance without the need for additional navigation. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your trip.
