    From the entrance of the Old Town, walk straight along the main street, ul. Mitropolitska. Continue past the Church of St. Sophia. The Church Dormition of Theotokos will be on your right, approximately 200 meters from St. Sophia. There are no specific fees for accessing this area of the Old Town.

    If arriving by bus to Nessebar's New Town, take bus lines 1, 2, 4, 5 or 8 to the Old Town. Get off at the last stop in the Old Town. From there, walk along ul. Mitropolitska, past the Church of St. Sophia. The Church Dormition of Theotokos will be on your right, a short walk from the bus stop. A single bus fare is approximately 4 BGN.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Nessebar and can take you to the Old Town entrance. From there, follow the walking directions.
