    From the New Town, cross the narrow isthmus to enter the Old Town of Nessebar. The isthmus is a pedestrian-friendly zone. Once in the Old Town, most attractions are within walking distance. Follow the cobblestone streets, keeping an eye out for historical markers and landmarks.

  • Public Transport

    Local buses connect Sunny Beach, Ravda, and other nearby towns to Nessebar. Several bus lines serve Nessebar, with frequent departures throughout the day. From Sunny Beach, buses №1, №4, №5 and №8 will take you to Old Town Nessebar. The bus fare is around 4 BGN. From Burgas, you can take a bus to Nessebar for approximately 8 BGN. The journey takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Buses stop near the entrance to the Old Town. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the main attractions.

  • Taxi/Ride-share

    Taxis and ride-sharing services are available in Sunny Beach and Burgas. A taxi from Sunny Beach to Nessebar Old Town costs approximately 20-25 BGN. From Burgas Airport, a taxi to Nessebar is around 30 BGN. Taxis can drop you off near the entrance to the Old Town. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

  • Driving

    If driving, follow the main road to Nessebar. A large parking area is available near the entrance to the Old Town. Parking costs approximately 12 BGN for 24 hours. Note that the Old Town itself is mostly pedestrianized, so driving within the old city is not possible.

  • Ferry

    A fast ferry service operates between Nessebar and Sozopol. The ferry journey takes around 40 minutes and costs approximately $24 USD. The hydrofoil dock is located at the port in Nessebar's Old Town.
