From Chepelare, start by heading northeast on the main road (Route 86). Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the village of Gorno Draglishte. Look for signs directing you towards Momchilovtsi. Turn left onto the road leading to the village. Follow this road for another 3 kilometers, and you will see signs for Momchils's fortress. There is parking available near the site.

From Chepelare, you can take a local bus towards Momchilovtsi. Buses operate regularly, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Momchilovtsi. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer uphill to reach Momchils’s fortress. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary on weekends.
