    Take a local bus from Dobrinishte to the nearest village with access to the Pirin National Park, which is around 5 kilometers away. A single bus fare will typically cost around 2-5 BGN.

    If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on the main road from Dobrinishte. Follow the road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the sign for the Pirin National Park entrance. Turn right and continue on the road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will reach a parking area near the trailhead for the Валявишки езера. There may be a small parking fee, so be prepared with some change. Parking fee is approximately 5-10 BGN per day.

The Valyavishki Lakes, a collection of glacial lakes, are located within the Pirin National Park. Situated in the Valyavishki cirque, the lakes cascade down a granite bed, ranging in altitude from 2,300 to 2,475 meters. The group consists of 12 permanent and 3 temporary lakes. Their rocky and steep shores are adorned with plentiful pine-scrub. The largest of the group is the Big Lake, resting at 2,379 meters above sea level. It reaches a depth of 18.9 meters, stretching 275 meters wide and 480 meters long, covering an area of 85.1 decares. The Big Lake is positioned at the northern foot of Valyavishki Chukar peak and contains two small islands. The Valyavishki Lakes feed into each other, with the higher lakes draining into the lower ones, eventually forming the Valyavitsa River. These lakes are a major attraction within Pirin National Park, offering trails for seasoned hikers and casual walkers. The area is rich in biodiversity, providing opportunities to observe wildlife, including deer and various bird species.
