The waterfall is located at 1230 meters above sea level. The waterfall's height is estimated between 11 and 15 meters. The waterfall is formed by the Bashliitsa river. The area surrounding Popina Laka is characterized by verdant meadows and dense coniferous forests, creating a harmonious blend of natural beauty. The waterfall itself features two distinct cascades, with a pool and a rock suitable for diving between them. The waterfall has been a natural landmark since 1965.
