Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Rila, Bulgaria. From Dobruja, take the A2 highway towards Sofia. Once you reach Sofia, merge onto the A1 highway towards Plovdiv. After approximately 45 km, take exit 57 for the E79 road towards Rila. Follow the E79 for about 30 km, and you'll see signs for Stob Pyramids. The pyramids are located just outside the village of Stob, approximately 10 km from Rila. There is a small parking area near the entrance.

Public Transportation

To visit the Stob Pyramids using public transportation, first, you need to reach the city of Rila. From Dobruja, take a bus or train to Sofia, and from Sofia, take a bus to Rila. Buses from Sofia to Rila are frequent and can be found at the Central Bus Station. Once in Rila, you can take a taxi or a local minibus to Stob Village, which is about 10 km from Rila. Ensure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary.
