If you are in the center of Gabrovo, start by heading southeast towards the main road, ul. Sava Kovachev. Walk straight until you reach the bus station (Avtogara Gabrovo). From there, take bus number 20 or 21 towards Veliko Tarnovo. Once you reach Veliko Tarnovo, get off at the 'Tsarevets' stop. From the bus stop, head southwest toward ul. Trapezitsa, following the signs to Trapezitsa Fortress. The walk will take approximately 15 minutes.
