Car
If you are driving from Malyovitsa, start by heading southeast on the main road (E79) from Malyovitsa village. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the fork at the end of the valley. Take the left fork towards the Malyovitsa ski resort. Follow the signs leading to the Malyovitsa Hut (Malyovitsa Bivak). Park your car at the designated parking area near the hut. From here, you will begin your hike to Dodov Peak.

Hiking
From the Malyovitsa Hut, follow the marked hiking trail towards Dodov Peak. The trail is well-signposted, but it is advisable to have a hiking map or GPS device. The hike takes approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. The trail ascends through beautiful pine forests and rocky terrain. Be prepared for steep sections and ensure you have appropriate hiking gear. As you approach Dodov Peak, you will enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Rila Mountains.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a bus from Sofia to the town of Samokov. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Samokov, you can take a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle to Malyovitsa. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Malyovitsa, follow the same hiking instructions as above from the Malyovitsa Hut to Dodov Peak.
