Walking
From the town center near the Bansko fountain, head north on 'Ulitsa Pirin'. Continue straight until you reach 'Ulitsa Glazne', then follow the road. At the fork in the road, take the right road towards 'Ситан Кале', which will lead you directly to the fortress. The walk takes approximately 30 minutes and offers scenic views. There are no entrance fees or tolls.
Public Transport
From the Bansko bus station in the town center, take bus number 1 or 2. Buses typically run every 30 minutes, but check the schedules. Disembark at the 'Ситан Кале' stop after approximately 20 minutes. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk northwest to the fortress. A single bus fare costs approximately 1.50 BGN.
Car
From central Bansko, head north on 'Ulitsa Pirin' towards 'Ulitsa Yavor'. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto 'Ulitsa Glazne'. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right road, marked towards 'Ситан Кале'. Drive for another 2 kilometers to find Ситан Кале on your left. Parking is free and available near the site. There are no tolls.
