If you are driving from Plovdiv city center, take the A1 highway towards Burgas. After approximately 30 km, take exit 30 towards Asenovgrad and follow the signs for Asenovgrad. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you reach the town of Asenovgrad. From Asenovgrad, follow signs for 'Dokuzak Waterfall'. The journey will take around 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the designated parking area near the waterfall, you will need to walk a short distance to reach the waterfall itself.

From the Plovdiv Central Bus Station, take a bus to Asenovgrad. Buses run frequently, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Asenovgrad, you can either take a taxi to the parking area near Dokuzak Waterfall or look for local buses that may take you closer. Taxis in Asenovgrad are reasonably priced, and the fare to the waterfall area should not exceed 10 BGN. After reaching the parking area, you will need to walk a short distance to the waterfall.
