Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Smolyan. Head east on the main road towards the village of Stoykite. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to 'Devil's Bridge' (Дяволския мост) as you approach the village of Dospat. Once you reach Dospat, follow the local signs or GPS directions to get to the bridge, which is roughly 10 kilometers away from the village. There's parking available near the bridge.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Smolyan to Dospat. The bus journey usually takes around an hour and a half, with several departures throughout the day. Once you arrive in Dospat, you can either walk to Devil's Bridge (approximately 10 km) or take a local taxi. Be sure to check bus schedules in advance, as they can vary, and keep some change on hand for taxi fare.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route from Dospat, consider hiring a taxi. Taxis are available at the bus station. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as it may range from 15 to 20 BGN (Bulgarian Lev) depending on the driver and time of day. The drive to Devil's Bridge from Dospat takes about 15-20 minutes.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and prefer to hike, a walking trail leads from Dospat to Devil's Bridge. The route is scenic but can be challenging, taking approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear suitable footwear and bring water and snacks for the journey.
