From the center of Shumen, go to the main bus station, which is located near the Shumen Fortress. Take bus number 9 or 12 towards Pliska. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Pliska' stop. From there, follow the signs towards the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve, which is about a 10-minute walk. The museum entrance is well-marked.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Shumen. Simply tell the driver you want to go to the Pliska Museum of National History and Archaeology. The ride will take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have cash ready, as not all taxis may accept card payments.

If you are staying in a nearby area and wish to walk, start from the Shumen Fortress. Head east on 'Vasil Levski' street until you reach the intersection with 'Bulgaria' street.
