If you are driving, start by heading towards the city of Shumen, which is well-connected by major roads in Southwest Bulgaria. From Shumen, take the signs for Pliska. The drive from Shumen to Pliska will take approximately 20 minutes (about 18 km). Once you arrive in Pliska, follow ul. Haan Krum, and you will find the National History-Archaeological Reserve at ul. Haan Krum, 9920 Pliska. There is usually parking available near the entrance.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Shumen to Pliska. Buses frequently operate between these two locations, and the journey usually lasts around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Pliska, you can walk to the National History-Archaeological Reserve, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Just head west along ul. Haan Krum.
