Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Sofia and take the E80 highway towards Borovets. Continue on E80 for about 30 km until you reach the exit for Dolni Pasarel. Follow the signs to Dolni Pasarel and then navigate to the coordinates GGMW+M2 (42.534181, 23.54509). The last part of the journey will be on local roads, which may be narrow, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the waterfalls.

• Public Transportation

  To get to Можкандови водопади using public transportation, take bus number 300 from Sofia to Dolni Pasarel. The bus departs from the central bus station in Sofia and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Dolni Pasarel, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach the waterfalls. Follow the path marked with signs towards Можкандови водопади. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends.

• Walking

  After arriving in Dolni Pasarel by bus or car, if you choose to walk, it's about a 30-minute hike to the Можкандови водопади. Follow the main road from the bus stop or parking area, and look for signs leading to the waterfalls. The trail is well-marked but can be steep in some areas, so wear appropriate footwear and carry water.
