If you are in the central area of Sozopol, you can easily reach the Southern Fortress Wall and Tower on foot. Start at the main square (Ploshtad 'Nesebar') and head south towards the coast. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade (Ulitsa 'Milet') for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several restaurants and shops. The Southern Fortress Wall and Tower is located at ul. Milet 52, directly overlooking the sea. You cannot miss the impressive structure as you approach it.

If you are driving to the Southern Fortress Wall and Tower, head towards the center of Sozopol. Navigate to ul. Milet 52, which is located near the coast. Parking may be limited in the central area, so look for public parking areas nearby. Once you park, it’s a short walk to the fortress. Follow the same walking directions as above from your parking spot to reach the fortress.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus to Sozopol from Burgas or nearby towns. Upon arriving at the Sozopol bus station, you can either walk to the Southern Fortress Wall and Tower or take a local taxi. The walk from the bus station is approximately 20 minutes. Head towards the coast and follow the promenade until you reach ul. Milet 52. Taxis are widely available and should cost around 5-10 BGN, depending on your negotiation skills and the distance.
