Getting There

• Public Transport

  From the main bus station in Stara Zagora, take a bus heading towards the village of Malko Tърnovo. Buses run approximately every hour. Get off at the Malko Tърnovo stop. Once you disembark, you will need to follow the road towards the south for about 3 km until you reach the entrance of the Zmeevi Dupki Cave. Look for signs along the way that direct you towards the cave.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from the center of Stara Zagora, start at the 'Stara Zagora Regional Historical Museum' and head southeast on 'Tsar Simeon Veliki' street. Continue straight until you reach the 'Beroe' stadium, then turn left into 'Knyaz Alexander Battenberg' street. Follow this road until you reach the outskirts of the city. From there, head south towards Malko Tърnovo, which is roughly 8 km away. It is recommended to use a map or GPS for this longer walking route.

• Bicycle

  For those who wish to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Stara Zagora. Start at the 'City Garden' and head south on 'Tsar Simeon Veliki' street. Follow the same route as the walking directions towards Malko Tърnovo. The cycling distance is about 8 km, and the road is relatively flat, making it a pleasant ride. Just be sure to stay on the paved paths and watch for any traffic.
