If you are traveling by car from the central areas of Upper Thracian Plain, start by heading towards the town of Stara Zagora. From there, take the A1 highway towards Burgas. After approximately 70 km, take the exit towards the town of Karnobat. Continue on the road to Shabla, which will take you about 60 km. As you approach Shabla, follow the signs for Lake Shabla. The lake is located just outside the town, and parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Lake Shabla by public transportation, start by taking a bus from Stara Zagora to Burgas. The journey takes about 2 hours and costs around 10 BGN. Once you arrive in Burgas, transfer to a bus heading to Shabla. This leg of the journey will take approximately 1.5 hours and will cost around 8 BGN. Once in Shabla, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Lake Shabla, which is approximately 3 km from the bus station.

The fare from the town center to the lake should be around 10 BGN and will take approximately 10 minutes.
