Enter the Vitosha Nature Park through the main entrance located in the suburb of Dragalevtsi. Once inside the park, follow the road to the 'Aleko' ski area. From Aleko, take the road towards the 'Plana' area. The Вековен бук is located at coordinates 42.512986, 23.407791, approximately 10 km from the Aleko area. There are no parking fees, but be mindful of any seasonal restrictions.

From Sofia, take bus number 63 from the 'Vitosha' metro station. The bus will take you to the 'Aleko' area. The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Aleko, you can either hike or take a taxi to reach the Вековен бук, which is approximately 10 km away. Ensure you check the bus timetable for the return journey, as services may be limited in the evening.

If you prefer to hike, you can set out from the Aleko area. Follow the marked hiking trails leading towards 'Plana'. The Вековен бук is accessible via these trails.
