The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From Aleko Hut, hike approximately 30-40 minutes on the marked trails to reach the rock formation. A single metro fare is approximately 1.60 leva. A single bus fare is also around 1.60 leva.

If traveling by car from Sofia, follow Vitosha Boulevard (Vitoshko Shose) towards Vitosha Mountain. Continue to the entrance of Vitosha Nature Park and follow the road to Aleko Hut. Park in the designated areas near Aleko Hut. From there, hike for about 30-40 minutes on the marked trails to the Dolphin Rock Formation. Parking costs vary but expect to pay around 2-5 leva per hour. Note that during peak season, parking spaces may be limited.
